Landing on the moon
On the occasion of the 25 years of the super automatic Gaggia machines, we have created a new version of two iconic models: Gaggia Cadorna Prestige and Gaggia Magenta Prestige are now “OVER ICE”. These superautomatic machines come in a new color – Moonlight Grey – and with a new beverage – the over ice coffee.
The new OVER ICE COFFEE
The innovative OVER ICE coffee introduces a new way to taste the drink we all love. With a simple touch, Gaggia Cadorna Prestige and Magenta Prestige will make a coffee that is ideal to taste over ice cubes. The special extraction process preserves the quality of coffee even at a lower temperature. Aromas are preserved, brewing is a bit slower, and the result is a drink that can be tasted just as it is, or enriched with milk, plant-based drinks, and sweeteners of any kind.
For the new OVER ICE coffee, one can adjust the aroma level – choosing the quantity of ground coffee per cup – and even selecting the coffee boost, to have an even more intense flavor. Moreover, it is possible to brew two coffees at a time (with a first grinding and brewing, followed by a second one), and to select the ground coffee option.
Moonlight Grey: the color of the Moon
Besides the new drink, the two machines feature a brand new color for their bodywork: Moonlight Grey. It is a light tone of grey, combined with black details, inspired by the lunar soil, that recalls the elegance and mystery of the moon, underlining the explorative and innovative spirit of the Gaggia brand. Moreover, this year we celebrate not only the 25 years since the launch of the first Gaggia superautomatic machine, but also the 55th anniversary of the first moon landing. So, as a man stepped on unexplored territories, now we discover a new part of the coffee universe.
A tribute to innovation and tradition
The introduction of the OVER ICE coffee opens the doors to new taste experiences, keeping the quality and precision that characterize Gaggia since the very start. This new launch follows our tendency to merge tradition and modernity, keeping an eye on design, elegance, technology and discovery. The Gaggia journey goes on…
